February onwards 2012

Well, since a lovely Cupola visit to Cheltenham Folk Festival, we have been keeping ourselves busy with some private party gigs, rehearsing and writing new material.  Sarah has been away with Pecsaetan Morris dancing and playing in Oman for a week, then training with the War Horse Folk School of Music.  Lots of new great input there.

Gigs are coming for the Summer time now and we are thrilled to be travelling to Ontario, Canada with the trio, as well as getting more festival gigs for DanceCupola - looking forward to all of those.

Cupola:Ward are working up new material for gigs later in the year - next one is Black Diamond Folk Club in Birmingham on Fri 8th June.

New gig guide page added - go and check that  out!

More soon xx

2012 so far for Cupola……

January has been fun, and fairly busy…..

DanceCupola had a superb sell-out gig at DEDA in Derby - great mix of people - from the folk world and from elsewhere.

23rd Jan saw us playing at the lovely Grand Union Folk Club - what a great night - fantastic singers and great vibe there!  Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

Have just had a really great weekend down in Cheltenham last weekend - lovely to see so many familiar faces again - felt like the Summer festival season had started already!!??  Cupola had some superb fringe gigs this year, taking the folk festival out into the town - really enjoyed those!
